MD ELEKTRONIK invites students of the Technical University Ingolstadt to an excursion

As a cooperative partner, MD ELEKTRONIK is in close contact with the AUDI AG and the Technical University Ingolstadt. As part of this cooperation, the automotive supplier welcomed 23 students to a guided excursion in order to give them an insight into the company and to test their technical knowledge in practical exercises.

During presentations regarding the topics ‘high frequency’ and ‘sensor cable technology’, the students of the fields ‘International Automotive Engineering’, ‘Electrical Engineering’, ‘Automotive Engineering’ and ‘Mechanical Engineering’ gained insight into some activity fields of the MD ELEKTRONIK GmbH. In the MD test laboratory, the students were able to put their knowledge to the test while working in groups. The students were enthusiastic: “Especially the technical effort and the equipment were impressive. The possibility to perform practical exercises in a laboratory was a ‘special highlight’.” The verdict of the participants was positive: “The visit to MD ELEKTRONIK, which was concluded with an evening meal, was so interesting that the time practically flew by.”

A solid commitment to training and studies has been an essential part of the non-business activities of the MD Group for many years. “In order to deepen the key topics, practical orientation is an important part of an academic qualification“, stated Gerd Mittermaier, Head of Product Engineering at MD and guest lecturer at the Technical University Ingolstadt. “Excursions such as the visit to MD offer excellent opportunities to inform the students about the various fields of activity and prepare them for potential jobs in the future”.
