Innovation potential sustainably utilised

MD ELEKTRONIK presented highlights at the IZB 2016

From the 18th to the 20th October, the ninth International Suppliers Fair (IZB) with its motto “Mobility goes Digital“ took place in Wolfsburg (Germany). More than 800 exhibitors from 32 nations presented their innovations at the European leading fair of the automotive supplier industry. During this event, MD ELEKTRONIK GmbH showcased its portfolio with regard to the intelligent networking of vehicles.

HFM/mini Coax connectors, data transmission using chip systems, functionally integrated cables, sensor cable technologies and various electronic connections:  The MD booth included numerous highlights which may sustainably influence the car of the future. “As a high-performance partner and innovation driver, we consider the entire system. We focus not only on data quality and cost reduction, but also on other important influencing factors such as increased flexibility and functionality”, explains Gerd Mittermaier, Vice President R&D at MD ELEKTRONIK. “The consistently positive feedback of the expert audience shows that we are on the right track.”

Besides the presentation of new products and innovations, this trade fair is an excellent platform for dialog and networking with customers, suppliers and partners. Therefore, MD’s participation at the IZB was this year once again a great success.  “This year’s main topic – the digitalization of mobility – shows that automotive networking is becoming increasingly important. With our scope of services we are facing great opportunities, but also great challenges“, states Rudolf Dechantsreiter, Vice President Sales & Marketing at MD ELEKTRONIK. “The positive feedback which we have received during the IZB motivates and encourages us to continue our development of new technologies to use the innovation potential of this mobility change in a sustainable manner.”

Since 2001, the IZB fair in Wolfsburg has been organised by the Wolfsburg AG and is the European leading fair of the automotive supplier industry. In 2016, more than 800 exhibitors from 32 nations presented automotive trends and innovations to approximately 50,000 trade visitors.
