MD ELEKTRONIK’s Summer Party

During the employee summer party, MD officially bid farewell to its former CEO, Walter Bichlmaier

The 2nd weekend of July not only saw the start of the 53rd folk festival in Waldkraiburg, MD ELEKTRONIK GmbH also celebrated its summer party. As part of this successful event, MD ELEKTRONIK GmbH bid farewell to its former CEO, Walter Bichlmaier, officially honoring him for his achievements for the automotive supplier.

Last Friday afternoon, the premises of MD ELEKTRONIK GmbH were used for purposes other than those generally intended: the focus was not put on data communication solutions, but on celebrating together and enjoying food and beverages. „By organizing this party, we would like to thank all our employees. Every day they help strengthen the position of our company as an important regional economic player and they do so with great commitment”, Ralf Eckert, CEO of MD ELEKTRONIK GmbH, gratefully acknowledged.

From a gastronomic viewpoint, the MD summer party was as good as the folk festival. Besides typical folk festival food like „Grillhendl“ (grilled chicken) and Bavarian sausage salad, a big buffet offered many barbecue specialties, different cakes and desserts, and even an ice cream cart was hired. The employees could enjoy their beer and cocktails, as they were offered a hotel room free of charge or a shuttle service to drive them home safely. The party was accompanied by traditional folk music performed by the “MD brass band“.

In the course of the event, MD officially bid farewell to Walter Bichlmaier, long-time CEO. From 2005 until 2017, Mr. Bichlmaier worked as CEO and significantly influenced the successful development of the company, as Robert Hofmann, CEO and Spokesman of MD ELEKTRONIK GmbH, emphasized during his opening speech: „In his function as CEO, Walter Bichlmaier was jointly responsible for the establishment of our locations in China, the USA and Mexico. During this time, MD ELEKTRONIK has also become one of the leading manufacturers of data communication solutions in vehicles as well as a technology partner of the automotive industry. For this, I would like to say a heartfelt thanks on behalf of the Management Board. “
