Basis for a successful career

Apprenticeship commencement at MD ELEKTRONIK in Waldkraiburg

For international companies such as MD ELEKTRONIK, qualified professionals are a decisive factor for long-term success. Therefore, it is of great importance to MD to offer substantiated apprenticeships to young people and the reason why a further nine school graduates recently started their professional career at the automotive supplier in Waldkraiburg.

Besides the presentation of the company and its innovative product portfolio for automotive data transmission, the apprentices were given an insight into their future work areas. “Within the framework of the apprenticeship, our trainees will work in numerous departments and areas so that they will be optimally prepared for the future challenges of the automotive sector”, explains Karin Rückerl, HR Business Partner at MD ELEKTRONIK.

As a strong partner, MD ELEKTRONIK puts great emphasis on the support for the local economy, as Dieter Rödig, Director Human Resources & Administration, states: “We would like to offer young people from the region a long-term career perspective and support them optimally during their professional and personal development. A substantiated apprenticeship is the best basis for a successful career.”

MD ELEKTRONIK offers apprenticeships in the following professional fields: Electronics technicians for automation technology, IT specialists in system integration, industrial clerks, industrial mechanics, technical product designers for tool and machinery engineering and technical product designers for product design and engineering.

Combined study program at MD ELEKTRONIK
Besides the various apprenticeships, MD ELEKTRONIK also offers a combined study program – in 2018, in the field of “Business Information Systems”. “In co-operation with the Landshut University of Applied Sciences and the Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences, we offer young people with a German (Fach-)Abitur the opportunity to start a university degree and to work in our company during their lecture-free time, during practical trainings and within the framework of their bachelor thesis”, says Karin Rückerl. “With a combined study program at MD, theory and career can be optimally connected.”
